Alcoholics Anonymous          

Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

SMART Recovery®          

SMART Recovery helps people recover from all types of addiction and addictive behaviors, including: drug abuse, drug addiction, substance abuse, alcohol abuse, gambling addiction, cocaine addiction, and addiction to other substances and activities. SMART Recovery sponsors face-to-face meetings around the world, and daily online meetings. In addition, our online message board and 24/7 chat room are excellent forums to learn about SMART Recovery and obtain addiction recovery support.

Narcotics Anonymous          

Primary service provided by Narcotics Anonymous is the NA group meeting. Each group runs itself based on principles common to the entire organization

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration          

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America’s communities. In order to achieve this mission, SAMHSA has identified 8 Strategic Initiatives to focus the Agency’s work on improving lives and capitalizing on emerging opportunities.

NAMI: National Alliance on Mental Illness          

NAMI’s support and public education efforts are focused on educating America about mental illness, offering resources to those in need and insisting that mental illness become a high national priority.

National Institute on Drug Abuse          

NIDA’s mission is to lead the Nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction.

This charge has two critical components.  The first is the strategic support and conduct of research across a broad range of disciplines.  The second is ensuring the rapid and effective dissemination and use of the results of that research to significantly improve prevention and treatment and to inform policy as it relates to drug abuse and addiction.

Oregon Problem Gambling Helpline          

The Oregon Problem Gambling Helpline has been in operation since 2001 and is currently taking approximately 5,000 calls a year. Trained professional staff members are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to listen, educate, answer questions, and refer people to free confidential treatment services.

Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous         

Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous, or S.L.A.A., is a Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition oriented Fellowship of men and women who help each other to stay sober. We offer help to anyone who has a sex addiction or love addiction or both and wants to do something about it. We S.L.A.A.’s have a special understanding of each other and the disease, and we have learned how to recover through The Twelve Steps of S.L.A.A.
